Along with four other end-game bosses, Duriel allows players to farm for targeted Unique items in Diablo 4. What sets this boss apart, however, is the higher chance for Uber Uniques to appear, and I have the full list in this guide.

Each time you fight Duriel in Diablo 4, there is a nearly 100% chance that a Unique item will drop from the list above. Uber Unique items are more likely to drop from this fight as well, which makes farming the summing items so lucrative. Just keep in mind that the Uber versions are still incredibly rare. The chances of finding one as a reward are still low.
With another Season 3 update, the ability to craft Uber Unique items also became available. Each time you deconstruct an Uber Unique, you earn a Resplendent Spark. Five of them can be used to craft a specific Ubers, so make sure to hold onto any that you find as you farm this boss.
How to Summon Duriel in Diablo 4
To summon the boss fight with Duriel, you need at least two Mucus-Slick Eggs and two Shards of Agony. The eggs are earned by defeating the Tormented Echo of Varshan, and the shards can be picked up after you kill Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint. This is essentially the end-game loop as of Season 3 in Diablo 4.
As a loop, you need to get items to summon Varshan and Grigoir as well. Completing Helltides and Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers is where you need to start your journey. Eventually, you’ll work your way up to Duriel, and you can start to chip away at a boss like Malphas if you want some extra challenges on the side.
To help you along the way, here is where you can get a Mucus-Slick Egg in Diablo 4.
