There are five locations on the map in Chapter 5, Season 1, where players can access Mod Benches. The five locations are:

  • Fencing Fields
  • Grand Glacier
  • Lavish Lair
  • Reckless Railways
  • Snooty Steppes

Where to Find Mod Benches in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

The Mod Benches will not be out in the open but locked behind a giant vault at all five of these locations. Players will have to defeat the respective boss at the location to gain access to the Mod Benches.

The five bosses are Montague, Nisha, Ocsar, Peter Griffin, and Valeria. Each location has one mansion-styled house containing the boss and multiple AI henchmen to fight.

Defeating the boss will drop a Society Medallion that will regenerate your shield over time and mark you on the map. The Society Medallion in your inventory will also guide you to the vault inside the house and grant access by interacting with the control panel on the side.

Players can then use the Mod Benches to outfit their weapons with different attachments for the Optic, Magazine, Barrel, and Underbarrel parts so long as they have enough Gold Bars to cover the cost. There is also a free modded weapon that players can take from the display case at the Mod Bench for those looking to save gold.
