When it comes to surviving the cruel world of Palpagos, the skills of your Pals are everything. Here’s how to find all Skill Fruit Trees in Palworld.
All Skill Fruit Tree Locations in Palworld
Sometimes, you get the perfect Pal. But it’s not ready for the Big Leagues for one simple reason: its skills suck.
That’s where the Skill Fruit Tree comes in. These rare trees are scattered around Palpagos, or Palworld, and each tree offers three Skill Fruit. And it’s possible that these fruits will give your Pal the skill it needs to become the best it can be. Here’s every Skill Fruit Tree we’ve found so far. Though, undoubtedly, there’s more lurking out there in some hidden crevice.
Worth noting is that the Skill Fruits seem to respawn. As I went to check out these trees for a second time for this guide, I found brand-new fruits in some locations. However, it’s uncertain how much time needs to pass before these fruits regrow. To that end, it’s a good idea not to cut down a Skill Fruit Tree, just in case it doesn’t grow back.
Skill Fruit Tree Location #1
Coordinates: 204, -453
This Skill Fruit Tree is the closest to where you start the game. From the Plateau of Beginnings, head down the path and keep your eyes up and to the right. You’ll see a cliff jutting out into the air, with a bright green light on top of it. If it’s late, the green light will show even more boldly.
Climb to the top of this cliff, and you’ll find both a Lifmunk Effigy and what might be your first Skill Fruit Tree!
Skill Fruit Tree Location #2
Coordinates: -11, -479
This is one of the most natural Skill Trees you’ll stumble across when you start your game. From the Small Settlement waypoint, head up and across the bridge.
From here, you only have to follow the path up. You’ll eventually hit a not-quite top plateau where the Skill Fruit tree will be, just to the left of the path.
Skill Fruit Tree Location #3
Coordinates: -183, -527
The second Skill Tree can be found by going to the Small Cove waypoint, near the bottom half of the map. This will take you to the Seabreeze Archipelago.
From there, you’ll need to swim across the water and climb up onto the plateau. You’ll immediately see the Skill Fruit tree to your left.
Fruits I found:
- Electric Skill Fruit: Plasma Tornado
- Ice Skill Fruit: IceBlade
- Electric Skill Fruit: Tagged Laser
Skill Fruit Tree Location #4
Coordinates: -13, 484
Our second Skill Fruit tree can be found west of the Small Settlement. Once you’ve made your way to the Small Settlement, head west and begin climbing the mountain. There, at the very top, you’ll see the Skill Fruit Tree.
It will be surrounded, perhaps even obscured, by red foliage trees.
Fruits I found (visited twice):
- Grass Skill Fruit: Seed Machine Gun
- Skill Fruit: Power Shot
- Electric Skill Fruit: Electric Ball
- Water Skill Fruit: Hydro Jet
- Water Skill Fruit: Aqua Blast
- Earth Skill Fruit: Sand Blast
Skill Fruit Tree Location #5
Coordinates: 362, -315
Our third tree can be found on Marsh Island in a hidden cove. Head to the Marsh Island waypoint, near the far east of the map. From there, climb up the mountain and be aware of a hole near the top. Once you find this hole, jump in.
Alternatively, come in from the Island Hopper waypoint and head east until you see the cave entrance. The Skill Fruit Tree will be just inside.
Fruits I found (visited twice):
- Fire Skill Fruit: Fire Blast
- Ice Skill Fruit: Frost Missile
- Fire Skill Fruit: Flare Storm
- Grass Skill Fruit: Wind Cutter
- Ice Skill Fruit: Ice Blade
- Electric Skill Fruit: Spark Blast
Skill Fruit Tree Location #6
Coordinates: 151, -14
The easiest way to find this next tree is to head to the Sealed Realm of the Guardian waypoint. But if you don’t have this waypoint, you can also get to this location from Mossanda Forest, which most people will naturally unlock as they explore the world.
From the Sealed Realm of the Guardian, the path to finding the Skill Fruit tree is exceptionally simple. Go north down the path, and you’ll find yourself at a lake with the Skill Fruit Tree at the shore. If you’re coming from any other direction, you’ll need to follow the beaten path that winds up the mountain and eventually hits this small and lovely lake.
Fruits I found:
- Earth Skill Fruit: Stone Cannon
- Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Breath
Unfortunately, there’s always a mob here. If the tree and its fruit are hit, there’s a chance the fruit will slip into the water and vanish.
Skill Fruit Tree Location #7
Coordinates: 327, 484
Our next tree is found in the desert rune area. From the Duneshelter waypoint, head north and climb the mountain to its very top. There, you’ll find the Skill Fruit Tree. It’ll take a lot of climbing, but beyond that, its placement at the peak makes it very obvious.
Fruits I found:
- Earth Skill Fruit: Rock Lance
- Ice Skill Fruit: Iceberg
- Electric Skill Fruit: Tri-lighting
Skill Fruit Tree Location #8
Coordinates: -622, -260
Navigating Mount Obsidian is no easy task. To get to this Skill Fruit tree, use the Ruined Fortress waypoint.
From there, go immediately south, climbing the tower you see. Use this tower to reach the plateau. Once you’re on the plateau, go west.
Skill Fruit Tree Location #9
Coordinates: -539, -639
Found on Mount Obsidian on its southern side, you’ll need to climb all the way up to the Mount Obsidian Anubis Statue, which is also, helpfully, the name of the waypoint. To get here, go west from the island and push past Fisherman’s Point. Head up the waterfalls, and you’ll eventually reach the massive, unmissable statue.
The Skill Tree is between the statue’s feet. And because it’s so close to a waypoint, it’s one of the best Skill Trees to farm for Skill Fruit.
Fruits I found:
- Fire Skill Fruit: Inferno
- Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Meteor
- Grass Skill Fruit: Grass Tornado
Two of these fruits were epic! As is befitting of the location.
You’ll see a smaller fortress in front of you. Don’t get inside. Instead, go around it, toward your right, and its north side.
On the north outer wall of this fortress is the Skill Tree. How easy to miss!
Fruits I found:
- Grass Skill Fruit: Solar Blast
- Skill Fruit: Power Bomb
- Electric Skill Fruit: Tri-Lightning
Skill Fruit Tree Location #10
Coordinates: 183, 428
Our next tree is located on the grassy cliff of Astral Mountain, to the island’s east side. The absolute best route to get there is using Icy Weasel Hill waypoint, south of the skill tree. While it does require a little bit of climbing, it’s mostly a straight shot.
And because of the Skill Tree’s placement on a green cliff, it stands in stark juxtaposition to the rest of its surroundings, making it one of the easier Skill Trees to find.
Fruits I found:
Unfortunately, I got distracted by a Sibelyx and forgot to pick the fruit. But did you know if you put a Sibelyx in a ranch, it will produce High Quality Cloth for you?
Skill Fruit Tree Location #11
Coordinates: -215, -349
On the middle island, head to the Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon waypoint. Once you’re there, follow the southern path until it turns left. When it does this, keep heading straight, towards teh river. You’ll eventually see a green cliff that juts out over the river. It’s even easier to find at night on a flying mount, as there’s an Effigy on it. On this cliff will be our Skill Fruit Tree.
Fruits I found:
- Grass Skill Fruit: Seed Machine Gun
- Earth Skill Fruit: Stone Cannon
- Earth Skill Fruit: Sand Blast
How to Use Skill Fruit
Once you’ve found a Skill Fruit you want, just open your inventory and “use” the fruit, the same as if you were eating it. This will open up a new menu displaying your current team. You can then apply the skill to your Pal.
It won’t replace a skill the Pal currently has. Instead, it will become an option in its skill menu. From there, just view your Pal, select the skill you want to replace, then select the skill you taught it to equip it.
Where Can I Buy Skill Fruits in Palworld?
You can buy some skill fruits from various vendors around the world. However, only a select few skill fruits will be available at these merchants. They also tend to be low-level, so their use quickly runs out once you level up higher. You’ll also be able to find skill fruits in some chests around the world as well.
We’ve found purchasable skill fruits from merchants in the following locations: Duneshelter and Fisherman’s Point. The prices of skill fruits sold depend on their rarity, so keep an eye out for how much you’ll be paying.
