The newest Avatar game is right around the corner, but those wanting to play on PC may be wondering if their system can even handle the game. Here are the PC system requirements for Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Minimum System Requirements
If you’re looking to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at 1080p with 30 FPS on Low settings, you’ll need the following system or better:
- OS: Windows 10 or better.
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 OR Intel i7-8700K.
- RAM: 16 GB.
- Video Card: AMD RX 5700, Intel Arc A750, OR Nvidia GTX 1070.
- SSD: 90 GB available space.
Recommended System Requirements
If you instead want to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at 1080p with 60 FPS on High settings, you’ll need to have a system at or better than the following:
- OS: Windows 10 or better.
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X OR Intel i5-11600K.
- RAM: 16 GB.
- Video Card: AMD RX 6700 XT OR Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.
- SSD: 90 GB available space.
It’s important to note that these settings include AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution set to the Quality settings. If you’re willing to set it to Balanced or Performance, you may get better results. You may also need a stronger PC if you aren’t willing to have an upscaler running and want to run the game natively.
What About Laptops?
If you’re running Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on a gaming laptop, your mileage may vary on these settings. Laptop video cards are generally weaker than their desktop counterparts due to the massive reduction in size, so you may need to compare your laptop’s performance to other video cards and adjust accordingly. Don’t forget not to let the little thing overheat while you’re at it; it deserves care, too.
