Can You Eat Your Captured Pals in Palworld?

According to the Steam description for Palworld, it looks like we’ll have the opportunity to turn our Pals into delicious meals when things get rough. While they may be sacrificing their lives to fill our tummies, it’s currently unclear if things need to be dire before you can decide to cook up your favorite Pal into a dish.

Sure, there have been countless memes about eating Pokemon, but this particular entry in the monster-collecting genre allows you to cook and prepare some of your pals into a delightful dish to keep yourself healthy. It’s a sacrifice that must be made, but I don’t know if I’ll have the heart to do this to any of my own. Oh, who am I kidding? I’m immediately cooking a Chikpi as soon as I get my hands on one.

You’ll also see other Pals eating some of the smaller creatures in the world, and you’ll be able to do the same. Is there a limit to which creatures you can eat? It’s hard to know just yet, but I’m hoping I accidentally don’t eat one of my Legendary Pals with an incorrect button press. Only time will tell what kind of dishes we’ll get to create with our new friends, but I’m very intrigued to see what kind of treats await us in this world.
