Much like its predecessor, Warhammer 40K: Darktide will have you stockpiling weapons left and right as your character levels up and completes arduous missions for the Emperor. As you rack up currency, you’ll likely be spending it at the Weapons Dealer in the hub for vital gear upgrades, as well as earning random upgraded pieces after completing missions. So, what are you supposed to do as your gear list grows more and more with obsolete weapons from your earlier levels? Where’s the option to sell or salvage your weapons in Warhammer 40K: Darktide? We’ve got your answer below.

Can You Sell or Salvage Weapons in Warhammer 40K: Darktide?
The answer is yes, well, in a roundabout way. There’s not exactly a crafting system in Darktide, so there’d be no use to Salvage older weapons for materials or any of that jazz. You can, however, get rid of your unwanted belongings and get a little money back in return.
Navigate to your Operatives menu where you’d normally go to equip a weapon. When you see your two equipped weapons, click one of them to be presented with all the unequipped weapons of that type you have stored. Once you click on an unequipped weapon, you’ll notice the option to ‘Discard‘ at the bottom of your screen. Though it may seem like this would simply toss the weapon out for nothing in return, it’s actually Darktide’s method of selling it. Press and hold the appropriate button (X by default), and the weapon will be discarded, rewarding you with a fractional amount of currency in return.
