Before we dive into how to obtain this weapon, let’s talk a little about its perks. These are the things that make any gun in Destiny 2 worth the effort required to get them, and while the Crimson isn’t nearly as good as the Prometheus Lens, it is definitely a weapon that you’ll want to get your hands on as quick as possible.

So what makes the Crimson so special? While the weapon’s intrinsic perk, Banned Weapon, is great because it allows the gun to fire in a three-round burst, it’s really the trait that sets this weapon apart. Cruel Remedy allows players to be healed when they get a kill with the Crimson, and pulling a precision kill with the weapon will reward you with an entirely new magazine, removing the need to reload.

The weapon also has better Impact, Range, Stability, and Reload speed that the Better Devils Hand Cannon, which is the main Legendary Hand Cannon for many users.

Now that you know why the Crimson Exotic Hand Cannon is a must-have, let’s talk about how to get this Exotic Hand Cannon. You also have the option of purchasing this weapon from Xur, should he ever sell it, but we wouldn’t count on that anytime soon.
