At Costa del Sol you can frolic in the sun to your heart’s content. But does the swimwear you wear matter in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? Here’s what you need to know.
Which Swimwear to Wear in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Costa del Sol is a beach resort that offers everything you can ever hope for: sun, activities, and free swimwear. But the swimwear you opt to buy from the Outfit Exchange serves more than just an aesthetic purpose. It also helps you deepen your relationship with Tifa and Aerith. Here’s how.
Before you can hit the beach at Coasta Del Sol, you’ll need to get Companion Cards which can then be exchanged for beach attire at the Outfit Exchange on the main road. There are two outfits available for Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa.
One outfit is purely a swimsuit. The other outfit is more beach casual, usually complete with a shirt. The swimsuit options are:
- Cloud – Wild Surf.
- Tifa – Shining Spirit.
- Aerith – Pink Mermaid.
The beach casual options are:
- Cloud – Ocean Chocobo.
- Tifa – Majestic Glamour.
- Aerith – Floral Delight.
So, why does this matter? If you dress each character in similar swimwear, their relationship will deepen. So, if Cloud is wearing Wild Surf, the girls must wear Shining Spirit and Pink Mermaid. If Cloud is wearing a shirt, the girls must wear shirts.
And there are just enough activities to ensure you have enough Companion Cards necessary to get each outfit if you’ve accidentally purchased the wrong outfit. Here’s how to get all the companion cards in Costa del Sol:
- Cloud Companion Card – Complete the Cards del Amor challenge.
- Cloud – Beat the base score in Pirate Rampage.
- Aerith Companion Card – Find the Hidden Cactuars.
- Aerith Companion Card – Beat the base second in Run Wild.
- Tifa Companion Card – Find all the Wheelies.
- Tifa Companion Card – Play at the hotel piano concert.
You can change your outfit at the changing booths scattered around Costa del Sol, including in the Surf & Suntan, which leads onto the beach.
