Modern gaming consistently tries to deliver more and more convenient features (or as they are better known, Quality of Life (QoL) features) and fortunately enough, the technology is rapidly developing and we have received cool stuff such as Cloud saves, which allow us to save our game data online, so that we can resume using it from any other device, instead of having the files locally and always bearing the risk of losing them. Splatoon 3 is causing a big online craze, since it’s probably going to end up being one of the craziest, if not THE craziest Nintendo Switch game and a lot of players are wondering if Splatoon 3 will have cloud saves or not. Prima Games has done a research on the matter. Find out more below.
Will Splatoon 3 Have Cloud Saves?
Splatoon 3 will indeed have Cloud Saves but only partially (so to say). Nintendo has made a remark that Save Data Cloud will be compatible with offline play data only. And there is an important footnote below, on the official game page, which we will provide in full:
- Here is how to How to Change Your Nickname in Splatoon 3
Additional games, systems, accessories and/or Nintendo Switch Online membership may be required for multiplayer mode. Games, systems, some accessories, and Nintendo Switch Online membership sold separately. Nintendo Switch Online membership and Nintendo Account required for online features. We are yet to learn how this will work in action once the game gets released because there are important pieces of data that are multiplayer-related and have to be stored somewhere. When further information becomes available, we will update the article. In the meantime, here’s How to Download the Splatoon 3 Demo.
