Like just about every other big-budget game on the market, Remnant 2 is gearing up to not only launch with a base edition but with a few other editions as well. These other editions cost a bit more than the Standard Edition, though come with even more stuff to enjoy both at launch and beyond. Given that the names don’t give off a lot in terms of features, this can be confusing. No worries though, as I’m here to clarify. Here’s everything included in the Remnant 2 Ultimate Edition (along with what’s included in the other two editions.)
All Rewards With the Remnant 2 Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition of Remnant 2 comes with five different core features. Naturally, one of those is the base game as with all other editions. Alongside that, you’ll snag yourself the following rewards:
- Three outfits inspired by Remnant: From the Ashes
- Three days early access (meaning you can start playing on July 22 instead of July 25)
- Survival Pack
- DLC Bundle with Three Packs
The first two rewards are pretty straightforward, offering a few new cosmetics and early access to the game. The last two are what might be a little bit tricky. The Survival Pack brings you two Mudtooth Elixir (XP boosts), five Bloodroot, three Ammo Boxes, 1000 Scrap, and 10 Iron. We don’t know how useful these are yet, though they’ll presumably be a nice head start to your resource collecting. The other thing up in the air is the DLC bundle, though we imagine this is similar to offering a Season Pass with DLCs like the Swamps of Corsus and Subject 2923 DLCs of the first game.

For Deluxe Edition owners, you’ll get the base game and the outfits, but not the early access or any bonus content beyond that. Naturally, Standard Edition owners will just snag themselves the base game. If you choose to pre-order any of the three editions, you’ll also snag yourself early access to the Gunslinger Archetype. Normally, you’d need to earn it while playing the game.
Is the Remnant 2 Ultimate Edition Worth it?
As for whether the Ultimate Edition is worth it, that will depend heavily on your interest in the first game and its DLCs. If you felt like you thoroughly enjoyed the game and its DLCs and have been very hyped for Remnant 2, you’re likely to find a lot more value in the Ultimate Edition content. On the contrary, if you’re someone just getting into the series or merely thought the first game was good, then you’re better off with one of the two cheaper editions. Naturally, the most bang for your buck comes from a Standard Edition purchase.
