How to Get the Proving Grounds Achievement in Remnant 2
Remnant 2 players can earn the Proving Grounds achievement by acquiring 20 Traits, which are passive abilities that give bonus stats when equipped. Players can upgrade their Traits with Traits Points earned by killing bosses and finding Tomes of Knowledge in the environment.
There are four Core Traits, 13 Archetype Traits, and 19 regular Traits earned by completing specific challenges in the game. However, not every Trait will count towards the total for the achievement.
The four Core Traits and four starting Archetype Traits will not count. That means the following eight Traits are not necessary for the Proving Grounds achievement: Endurance, Expertise, Kinship, Longshot, Spirit, Strong Back, Triage, and Vigor.
How to Get Traits in Remnant 2
There are 28 Traits that players can get to satisfy the 20 Trait requirement for the Proving Grounds achievement. Some are Archetype Traits that have players maxing out the class, while others must be earned in specific fights in the game.
