How to Complete Wanted: Mazan, Lost Captain in Destiny 2

Learn how to take Mazan, Lost Captain in Destiny 2: Forsaken’s new Wanted Bounties.

Quite a few enemies managed to escape the Prison of Elders in the prison break at the start of Destiny 2: Forsaken’s story, and it’s your job to hunt them all down and bring them to justice. This time around you target is Mazan, Lost Captain, a Fallen Captain that’s been hiding out in the Widow’s Walk Lost Sector, located in the European Dead Zone (or EDZ). This article will show you everything you need to know to complete the Wanted: Mazan, Lost Captain bounty in Destiny 2, and score some rewards for your trouble.

Wanted: Mazan, Lost Captain

Once you acquire this bounty, it’s time to make your way down to Earth, to the European Dead Zone. Spawn in at Trostland and then it’s time to explore a little bit. From spawn, head to the left when looking at the massive church and keep an eye out for the symbol marking the start of a Lost Sector nearby.

When you’ve found the entrance to the Lost Sector, head inside. This is where Mazan, Lost Captain is hiding out, and you’ll need to complete the Lost Sector if you want to find the target and take it down. This should be an easy job for you if you’re a decent Power Level, though it never hurts to bring along some friends to help you out.

Completing this Lost Sector really isn’t that difficult. The main area is filled with Fallen—as you’d expect given the target that you are after—and you’ll need to take them out and clear the room before moving on and searching for your final target, Mazan, Lost Captain.

Taking down this Captain shouldn’t be too difficult—hitting him with your Super should do the trick—so go ahead and deal with the battle and bring it to a close. Once the target is dead, turn in the bounty, and then you’re ready to go back to hunting more Prison of Elder escapees.
