When you finish the campaign in Diablo 4, the Tree of Whispers becomes available as another source of loot, and it requires you to collect Grim Gavors across Sanctuary. Collecting 10 of the favors allows you to claim Legendary loot over and over again, but first, you need to get all the favors that you can. Here’s how to collect Grim Favors in Diablo 4.
Where to Collect Grim Favors in Diablo 4
Grim Favors are activities that rotate all over Sanctuary and I found them for the first time in Kehjistan. Grim Favors are marked in red and pink on your map and they rotate around the map in Diablo 4. Every 90 minutes, the favors that can be collected on the map will change, and there will be a new set of objectives called Whispers. If you see favors in a place like the Fractured Peaks, then dungeons like the Dead Man’s Dredge or The Infested Mill cellar can count as Grim Favors.
When you scroll over one of the red or pink icons, they will tell you how many Grim Favors you can collect by completing the task. Dungeons always provide five Grim Favors, while Cellars and collection events in the sub-region will reward one favor. I like to speed through dungeons so I can get what I need and move on to the Tree of Whispers.

As soon as you collect 10 Grim Gavors, you won’t be able to earn any more until you claim your reward from the Tree of Whispers. After I turn my favors in, the cycle repeats and I can find more Whispers.
Where to Find the Tree of Whispers in Diablo 4
The Tree of Whispers is located in the Writhing Mire of Hawezar. This sub-region is part of the main campaign and there is a Waypoint located directly next to the tree. In the area, there is a stash and a Blacksmith, so you won’t need to worry about having a lack of space for rewards.
If you haven’t started your journey through the Grim Favors and whispers, then this is where you need to go. You will have access to a Priority Quest for the Tree of Whispers as soon as the main story is finished.
