Remnant 2 is a soulslike, which means you’re going to fight a ton of very challenging bosses that could easily mess you up. While that does take the majority of the experience though, there are a ton of puzzle and challenge levels as well, set to test your skills without putting you up against yet another boss. One such set of puzzles comes when entering a certain Yaesha region. Here’s how to complete the Lament puzzles in Remnant 2.
How to Get Through the Lament in Remnant 2
The Lament consists of a handful of puzzle rooms all leading towards a reward. The first of these rooms involves a bunch of arrows flying at you, and small bits of cover that you need to clamber over. Provided that you stay crouched, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The main thing to keep in mind is that when the arrows start coming from behind you, don’t try to look back and watch them. Instead, try to time your jump with the arrows while looking forward. You’ll have a much easier time.
The second puzzle involves a plinth housing tons of different symbols, which you’ll find after clearing out a previous section of the map. If you find yourself having trouble here, you’ll want to head down to the very bottom of the room inside the sinkhole, where you’ll find a book. Inside that book is a symbol, one you’ll find on certain blankets covering the deceased Pan. Above the correct blankets are symbols, which are the correct symbols to use on the plinth.
When you’ve done this correctly, you’ll come across a room overlooking a chest. This might leave you stumped, seeing as the only way toward it is through a locked door. Alas, it’s much easier than you might be led to believe. When you’re overlooking the chest, look behind you, then slightly to the right (use the image above if you’re confused). Break the pots, and you’ll be able to drop down and progress.
While the rest of the puzzle is straightforward (besides the sawblades being pretty frustrating to deal with), there is one area where some people might get tripped up. At one point, you need a key locked behind a hole in the wall. To access it, you’ll need to go through the waterfall pictured above and follow the tunnel. There, you’ll find the key you need.
