Season 3: Reloaded has brought a new Warlord to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode called the Rainmaker. Here is how to find and defeat the Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies.
How to Find Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies
The Rainmaker Warlord is located in the southeastern section of the map near Shanin Manor. The entire fortress is on an island in the middle of the lake, or coordinates H8-I8 in the neutral tier 1 zone.
The island is not hard to travel to, but players will need a Fortress Keycard to enter the main building. It is similar to the previous warlords with Dokkaebi, Legacy, and Keres. Here is how to get a Fortress Keycard:
- Get a Stronghold Keycard by completing a Mercenary Camp, Mercenary Convoy, or purchasing from the Buy Station for 2,000 Essence.
- Use the keycard to enter any Mercenary Stronghold on the map, clear it out, and drill the safe inside.
- Obtain the Fortress Keycard item from the safe.
How to Defeat Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies
The island is heavily guarded by respawning soldiers and claymores lying around, so it is best to come prepared before swimming or ziplining to the island. Having teammates is also welcome for general backup.
A level two or three Pack-a-Punched weapon and plenty of Armor Plates are required for the fight, as you will get shot a lot. Watch your step for claymores as you enter the main building, which has multiple entrances, and clear out the first floor of all soldiers and other traps.
The building will contain tripwire sensors and sentries, so be wary when turning corners. The Rainmaker should be on the second floor, and mark him on first sight to track him easier.
The small rooms do not leave much for strategy, so simply shoot the Rainmaker Warlord whenever chance you get. Do not be afraid to tank him with a level three Pack-a-Punched weapon and a team behind you. The last thing you want is for the fight to go long and Armor Plates to run dry while dealing with reinforcements.
Rainmaker Warlord Reward in MW3 Zombies
Defeating the Rainmaker Warlord will drop the Clean House blueprint for the DG-56 assault rifle. An open weapon slot is necessary to carry it before it can be extracted.
Unfortunately, it is just a Contraband weapon that can only be brought into future Zombies matches. It is not a blueprint that can be carried over into MW3 multiplayer and Warzone.
