Warframe thrives on its gameplay loop of farming both frames and weapons, then leveling them to reach their max potential using Forma, mods, and things of the sort. It’s a gameplay loop that clearly works, with many considering Warframe to be (rightfully) one of the best free-to-play games ever made. One such Warframe you can farm has an interesting way of getting its blueprints. Here’s how to farm Citrine in Warframe.
How to Get Citrine’s Blueprints in Warframe
To farm Citrine, you’ll want to first head to the new mission Tyana Pass over on Mars. This is a Mirror Defense mission, a modified version of the Defense game type. In this mode, you must defend two crystals from waves of enemy forces, while traversing the Void to go between them. In the Void, you can find tiny crystals that will heal the larger ones.
For each Defense round you do, the rotation of rewards will change. The rotation goes A-A-B-C with the C rotation being the only one with the potential to drop blueprints for Citrine. The chances for it to drop are as follows:
- Citrine Blueprint – 6.8% Chance to Drop
- Citrine Chassis Blueprint – 4.5% Chance to Drop
- Citrine Neuroptics Blueprint – 4.5% Chance to Drop
- Citrine Systems Blueprint – 4.5% Chance to Drop

Like with anything in Warframe, this is going to require a lot of grinding for the full set. Not only do you need to do four rotations of the Mirror Defense mission, but you need to repeat that process four times at minimum to have all parts you need. Given how low the drop rates are, expect that to take far longer. You might need it while gearing up for the upcoming Duviri Paradox, which you can read more about in our guide.
