Finding your way around the map in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is already enough of a challenge, so taking full advantage of the fast travel system can save you time in backtracking. This guide covers how you can use the system.
How to Unlock Fast Travel in PoP: The Lost Crown
To use fast travel, you need to find a second travel point statue on the map and destroy the purple orb in front of it with three melee hits. As soon as you find a second travel statue, you can finally use the first point that is marked in The Haven. Without that second unlock, there is no way to leap around points of interest.
Fast travel itself can only be done between two statues. So if you’re early into Prince of Persia and you can seem to find The Haven travel point, that’s why. As soon as you find a second one out in the general world, you will get a pop-up that shows you the eagle-like markers signifying a statue. These are the only locations that you can jump to. Wak-Wak Trees won’t count.
As you are exploring the world in The Lost Crown, you can tell if a Fast Travel point is close when the edges of your screen start to turn purple. This signifies that a broken statue is near and you can break the orb to gain yet another point. Until then, each point of travel is hidden, so make sure to explore where you can.
Any time you discover a new Fast Travel point, there is typically a Wak-Wak Tree in the same room. I highly recommend taking the opportunity to get your health back and return to The Haven for more upgrades. Then you can jump right back to the same location and continue the adventure.
