Razorclaw Crab Locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You can find Razorclaw crabs around Hyrule’s coastlines. Below are three examples of locations and coordinates you’ll discover throughout your playthrough:

  • Afromsia Coast – coordinates (4574, -1791, 0002)
  • Martha’s Landing – coordinates (1241, -3648, 0003)
  • Lanayru Bay – coordinates (3840, -0684, 0001)

For the best odds of finding Razorclaw crabs, visit these three locations and travel along the coastline in southeast Hyrule, particularly around eastern Lanayru, Necluda, and southern Faron. I found Martha’s Landing the easiest to get to since Joju-u-u Shrine is so close, but the others are easily accessible through Skyview Towers and nearby shrines.

As a bonus, you may even find some Ironback crabs along the way!

What Are Razorclaw Crabs Used for in TOTK?

There are two main reasons you’ll search for Razorclaw crabs in Tears of the Kingdom:

  • Upgrading Barbarian armor
  • Cooking Seafood recipes

Crabs are involved in several seafood recipes, from seafood rice balls to crab stir-fry! Depending on your recipe, you’ll often need other ingredients such as rock salt, Hylian rice, and fish, so be prepared to shop for groceries.

The other reason has to do with Barbarian armor upgrades. Its third upgrade requires you to gather Razorclaw crabs alongside Saber and Mace Lynel horns, similar to the previous one with the Razorshrooms. You’ll need nine Razorclaw crabs overall, but with the three locations listed above, you’ll get there in no time.
