When you start out in Sons of the Forest, you get some starter gear which we just find… Auxiliary. This is why you gradually keep getting better and better tools and weapons as you progress toward the finish line in Sons of the Forest, and Modern Axe is one of many useful tools that you can find on this cursed island. It will greatly help you to chop down trees, hunt down wildlife, and defend yourself against the hordes of zombie mutants (or whatever they are, I haven’t figured out yet, I kill first and ask questions later). Where to Find the Modern Axe in Sons of the Forest
The Modern Axe can be located in the northwest section of the island. We have a couple of screenshots ready for you, along with some navigation guides to help you manage your traversal across the island to the Modern Axe:

Where is the Modern Axe in Sons of the Forest?
You will notice a purple indicator on your GPS device that keeps beeping faster and louder the closer you get to the destination. The Modern Axe is located in the camp, stuck in a dead body. You may approach the axe and pick it up with your “E” key (if you didn’t change your binds).
As soon as you pick up the Modern Axe, you can utilize it by equipping it from your Inventory. It’s located on the right side, behind your original axe.
