LEGO Fortnite continues to be updated with new items and features since it was launched within Fortnite, and drivable vehicles can now be built. Players will need a resource called Biomass to get the process started, so here is how to get Biomass in LEGO Fortnite.
How to Craft Biomass in LEGO Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite players can get Biomass by using a Compost Bin Station. This machine can turn specific ingredients into Biomass, Fertilizer, and Soil.
Not all items can go into the machine, but Biomass can be created by depositing creature parts. These are parts found from slaying various animals in the environment and can include bones, meat, shells, scales, and claws.
Transfer up to 10 of these items from your inventory to the Compost Bin. This will take a few minutes for the machine to transform them. Any rarity or type of creature parts will do, but the results may not be a 1:1 ratio. Parts may sometimes not yield any Biomass at all, while others will give more than what you initially put in. You will also receive Fertilizer and Soil from these parts as well.
How to Get Compost Bin in LEGO Fortnite
The Compost Bin was added in the v29.10 Mechanical Mayhem update, so returning players should already have the Station unlocked if significant progress was made. It can be found in the Utility tab of the Build menu. New players can unlock it once certain resources needed for it have been gathered.
The Compost Bin Station will require five Plank, three Fertilizer, two Soil, and one Sand to build. Planks can be made with a Lumber Mill, while the other ingredients can be dug up from the ground or found from animals.
