If you’ve been gunning through Destiny 2 and you’re after some cosmetics, then you’re going to be wanting to hit up the Eververse store. You’re going to need a hell of a lot of a particular resource to spend if you’re wanting to spice your glamor game up, so here are some of our tips on how to get Bright Dust in Destiny 2 now that we’re in a post-Shadowkeep age (heck, it’s almost ending).
How to Get Bright Dust in Destiny 2
Ever since the launch of Shadowkeep, there have been some changes to the way that Guardians are able to pick up Bright Dust in Destiny 2. Before, you were able to purchase it alongside earning it by doing relevant activities in the game, though the most reliable way to amass it in the past was to dismantle things that you owned or purchased. Now, dismantling things will give you Legendary Shards and Glimmer.
Now, you can earn Bright Dust in the following ways:
- Finishing Vanguard bounties
- Finishing Crucible bounties
- Finishing Gambit bounties
- Seasonal event bounties
- Engrams that have cosmetics
As per usual, if you’re wanting to pick up something nice for yourself, Shadowkeep hasn’t changed the function of the Eververse store. You can still buy your usual cosmetic items from there, and you will be using your newly acquired Bright Dust to do this. There are now more avenues than ever to acquire this resource, so we anticipate that it won’t be too difficult at all for you to save up for something that you’re wanting, whether it be some kind of cool shell or literally anything else at all.
Now that you know how to get Bright Dust in Destiny 2, why not strike out there and get some of your bounties done? With weekly bounties clocking in at around 200 Bright Dust, you really don’t have anything to lose by rolling up your sleeves and diving in. Need a hand with anything else in Destiny 2?
