Most games that have multiple playable characters tend to have one crowd favorite. In The First Descendant, it is probably Bunny, but she isn’t technically free. You can buy her, but you can also unlock her through farming, even her Ultimate Bunny version. Here’s how to get Bunny or Ultimate Bunny in The First Descendant.
How to Unlock Bunny in The First Descendant
To research and unlock Bunny, you need the following materials:
- Bunny Enhanced Cells
- Bunny Stabilizer
- Bunny Spiral Catalyst
- Bunny Code
Bunny Enhanced Cells drops from a Vulgus Field Generator mission in Kingston.
Bunny Stabilizer drops from the Magister Lab mission in Kingston.
Bunny Spiral Catalyst drops from the Vulgus Data Transmitter mission in Kingston.
Bunny Code drops from an Amorphous Material Pattern: Bunny, which is dropped from the Slumber Valley mission in Kingston. The Amorphous Material Pattern: Bunny will only open after you beat the Void Intercept Battle with the Grave Walker.
Once you have all these materials, visit Anais, the Magister, and research Bunny. It’ll take 400,000 gold and 1 minute to finish the research. After the research is done, you’ll unlock the Descendant Bunny.
How to Get Ultimate Bunny in The First Descendant
You’ll go through the same process to craft Ultimate Bunny but with a hundred extra steps. Here are the materials you need:
- Ultimate Bunny Enhanced Cells
- 949x Repton, 919x Ceramic Composite, 73x Encrypted Neural Circuits, and 1x Ultimate Bunny Enhanced Cells Blueprint
- Ultimate Bunny Stabilizer
- 1,285x Superfluid, 869x Hardener, 102x Specialized Biometal, 1x Ultimate Bunny Stabilizer Blueprint
- Ultimate Bunny Spiral Catalyst
- 1,247x Carbon Crystal, 1,203x Reverse Charging Coil, 89x Pure Energy Residue, 1x Ultimate Bunny Spiral Catalyst Blueprint
- Ultimate Bunny Code
- drops from Amorphous Material Pattern 052 and 106 from Void Intercept Battles – Hanged Man or Obstructer
Each of the first three materials needs 18 hours and 450,000 gold to research, so it’ll take 54 hours and 1,350,000 gold to get the first three materials. Of course, you still need to farm the other materials. You can look at the acquisition info to check the drop points of each of the materials.
After getting all the materials, you still need 900,000 gold and 36 hours to craft Ultimate Bunny. In short, you might spend over 50 hours farming the materials for the Ultimate Bunny, but at least she’s free, right?
If you want to skip all this grind, you can buy Calibers and get Ultimate Bunny for 5,000 Calibers from the in-game shop, which roughly adds up to $100.
