Some of these items are harder to find, so that’s something to remember. Out of all locations, spend extra attention at Appalachian Antiques and the Whitespring Resort. Both places have plenty of gold-coated junk that can be turned into Gold Scrap in Fallout 76.
How to Mine Gold Ore in Fallout 76
There are specific locations in Appalachia where players can mine certain ores. Some ores can then be mined to get resources like Gold Scrap.

All players need to do is build a workshop at these locations to extract gold ore. Once they have the ore, they will require a Chemistry Workbench and Acid. You’ll need 2 Gold Ore and 4 Acid to get 1 Gold Scrap. This is a more sustainable way to get Gold Scrap, but getting to the locations takes at least some time, especially for new players.
