There aren’t too many nonhostile enemies in the game, so when you stumble upon the peaceful Brahmin, it’s often fun to try and knock one over using a Super Sledge. Here is where to find Brahmin in Fallout 76.
How to Find Brahmin in Fallout 76
You can find Brahmin in Fallout 76 all across the game world, but most notably in Flatwoods, out behind the church, outside of The Wayward, near Big Bend Tunnel East, by Pleasant Valley Station, and a singular animal at Lewis & Sons Farming Supply.
Furthermore, three spawn during the Free Range Event, two during the Riding Shotgun Event, and you can find Minos, the Brahmin that follows Minerva around whenever she spawns.
What Use Are Brahmin in Fallout 76?
While not extremely useful overall, you can farm a Brahmin for milk occasionally. Milk is a consumable that provides 1 HP/second for 10 seconds, heals 5 Rads/second for 5 seconds, and increases food by 3.33% and water by 8.89%.
You can also use Brahmin milk to craft:
- Fasnacht Donut
- Pepperoni Roll
- S’mores
- Tato Salad
- White Russian
How to Get Brahmin in Your C.A.M.P
It’s possible to entice a single Brahmin to live in your C.A.M.P. by crafting a pen and fertilizer collector, which will spawn a single Brahmin. You will need to track down the plan for the pen, however.
You can acquire the Brahmin pen plan by purchasing it from the following vendors:
- Free States Vendor (The Whitespring Resort)
- Shopping Mall Vendor (The Whitespring Resort)
- Grahm (Travelling Vendor)
- Vendor Bot Wallace (Berkely Springs Station)
- Watoga Vendor Bot (Watoga Station)
Alternatively, you can loot the plan from toolboxes, tool cases, and tool chest containers or earn one as a reward from Daily Ops, Claim Workshop Quests, Defend Workshop Quests, and via Treasure Maps in any region in the game.
How Often Can You Milk Brahmin?
Once you’ve built the corresponding Brahmin Pen in your C.A.M.P., you can milk your new pet once every 30 minutes. However, if another player happens across your homestead and milks the Brahmin, you have to wait the full half an hour until you can milk her again.
Furthermore, you cannot sell Brahmin milk to vendors. It’s good for cooking and consumption, though.
If you don’t want to eat Brahmin, there’s always Canned Dog Food!
