How to Get into the Hateno Tech Lab in Tears of the Kingdom.
In order to gain access to the Hateno Tech lab, you’ll need to first make it to Hateno Village in the southeast region of the map.
The Hateno Tech lab is found at the coordinates (3780, -2109, 0250)
Then you’ll need to get the scientist Robbie to go back to the lab. You need to do this by finishing up Josh’as questline and getting the autobuild power, which we have a helpful guide on. After completing this quest, Hateno Village’s Tech Lab will be open for business.
We recommend picking up all of the Depths quests from Josha as soon as you make it to Lookout Landing at the beginning of the game. Doing these quests will help you unlock the camera, and other Purah pad features to make exploring the world of Tars of the Kingdom much easier.

After completing this questline, go back to Lookout Landing and talk to Robbie. He will now tell you he’s going to head to the Hateno Tech Lab to work on powers for the Purah Pad.
