How to Get Knucklehead Radar in Destiny 2

You might look dumb but at least no one will sneak up on you

Hunters have dominated PvP for quite some time, and for good reason. There is no shortage of fantastic Exotics that can be paired with almost every Hunter subclass to devastating effect. Usually, those exotics are Wormhusk, Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk, St0mp-EE5, and Mask of Bakris. But, what about Knucklehead Radar? Is it any good and how do you get Knucklehead Radar in Destiny 2?

How to Get Knucklehead Radar in Destiny 2

Knucklehead Radar is an Exotic for Hunter. I will admit that I am biased, but Knucklehead Radar has always been one of my favorite Hunter Exotics in the Crucible. This Exotic allows you to see your radar while you are aiming and grants an increased range if you are crouching. Why is that good? Because it lets you hold corners with a Scout Rifle without ever worrying about getting flanked. It is even better when you are playing modes like Control or guarding point in Rift, and you are guarding a point.

But how do you get it?

Knucklehead Radar is one of the oldest Exotics in Destiny 2, so you do not need an Expansion to find it. Instead, there is a chance that it will be decrypted from any of the golden Exotic Engrams that you find on the ground or claim from your Premium Battle Pass, assuming you are claiming that Engram on your Hunter.

There is also a secondary way. From now until reset, which occurs on February 14 at 12:00 p.m., Xur, Agent of the Nine, will be selling Knucklehead Radar. You will need 1,000 Glimmer and 23 Legendary Shards to purchase it, and it is worth having just to try.

If you are having a hard time finding Xur, head to the planet Nessus and go to the Watcher’s Grave landing zone. Check your map, and you should see the “IX” emblem on the map. If you still cannot find him, look in the tree! He loves hanging out in the trees.
