If you want to get the most out of your weapons in Warframe, then having as much mod capacity as possible is important. Here’s how to get Orokin Catalysts in Warframe.
Where to Get Orokin Catalysts in Warframe
If you’re looking for some Orokin Catalysts in Warframe, you can get them through the following means:
- Buy them through the Market for 20 Plat each.
- Purchase from Nora’s Nightwave Offerings using Nightwave Creds.
- Completing specific events.
While the above methods are ways to get complete Orokin Catalysts, you can also snag the blueprints for Orokin Catalysts through the following methods:
- Completing the final stage of Sorties.
- Completing the final stage of Archon Hunts.
- Completing Gift of the Lotus alerts.
- Getting Invasion battle pay as a specific reward.
- Daily Tribute.
- Completing the Stolen Dreams Quest.
- Heading to Acrithis’ shop either in Duviri or through the Dormizone on the Zariman Ten-Zero.
If you get a blueprint for an Orokin Catalyst, you’ll need one Morphics, one Gallium, one Control Module, and one Orokin Cell to craft it. Once you have those, you simply need to let it build for around 24 hours before taking it and applying it to a weapon.
What Does an Orokin Catalyst Do?
When applied to a weapon, an Orokin Catalyst will double that weapon’s Mod Capacity. This lets you equip more powerful Mods onto the weapon before hitting the cap, and heavily increases that weapon’s damage output. Typically, this will increase the Mod Capacity from 30 to 60. If you want to do this to one of your weapons, open the menu showing all currently equipped Mods, then click the Actions button at the bottom. From there, an option should appear to apply an Orokin Catalyst to that weapon.
