If you’ve made it this far, you’re getting closer and closer to obtaining the Fireworks in Amnesia: The Bunker. This part of the operation is probably the shortest, but most complicated to execute. However, I have done it a few times and will gladly let you know what to focus on and how to easily get the Dynamite in Amnesia: The Bunker.
Where to Find The Dynamite in Amnesia: The Bunker
If you do not have the Arsenal Door Code, please get it first. After you gain access to Arsenal, you will end up in an obstacle maze. We have the full map of the Bunker revealed, but here’s a sketch of the area below anyway. “O” is the start, and “X” marks the spot. You will need to know a few things here:
- There are a lot of physical obstacles that you will need to overcome by jumping over them, crawling under them, moving them, or moving something under them (like a barrel), so that you can jump on them.
- There is one spot in Storage Area A which is guarded by rats. Have a Torch ready, or Flare/Meat
- There is a scripted arrival of the Beast in this part. The Beast might go on a wild rampage and just obliterate half of the shelves and obstacles in an attempt to get you. You can run, you can hide, you can even try and fight it and scare it off with the booby traps and a few bullets (if you can spare like 2-3).
- There are a few booby traps. Watch out for the wires.
The red line is the approximate route that you will be taking, based on my memory:
- Move the barrel blocking your way at the first turn
- Crawl under the knocked shelf, turn left, and then turn right and you will stumble upon a rat pack
- Pass through the next section and you will end up in “aisles” in Storage Area B. Near the end, there’s a platform you need to jump on by putting something under it to put it within your reach
- Inside the cage, you’ll be able to get your Dynamite.
- Bring it home!

How to Use Detonator Handle and Dynamite in Amnesia: The Bunker
Near the Administrator’s Room (just a few meters up north) there is a box where you should add the Detonator Handle, and at the end (where all the rubble is) you have a box, (shown in the screenshot above), where you will gently place the Dynamite. Move back to the Detonator in order to finally perform the fireworks we’ve waited for so long.
After the explosion, the game will automatically save, and you are ready to fight the final boss.
