A large part of the Solstice 2023 event in Destiny 2 is completing the Event Card Challenges. Doing so nets you a variety of rewards, such as the new Ephemeral Spark Exotic Ship and even an Ascendant Shard.

Another coveted prize is the ‘Sunkissed’ Emblem, which is earned upon completion of the following Event Card Challenge:

  • Fuel for the Fire II: Stoke 70 flames in the Bonfire Bash activity.

Bonfire Bash is the main activity in Solstice 2023 and has you and two others in your Fireteam kill enemies for Igniters that need to be deposited into the bonfire in the middle of the map to stoke the flames. Once the timer runs out, you’ll face off against the Taken Heat-Drinker, who you must defeat to win Bonfire Bash successfully.

‘Fuel for the Fire II’ is the second ‘Fuel for the Fire’ Event Card Challenge. The first requires you to stoke 35 flames and to unlock the ‘Sunkissed’ Emblem, you’ll need to stoke a total of 50. There’s even a ‘Fuel for the Fire III,’ which unlocks the Ephemeral Spark Exotic Ship.

It’s a lot of grinding Bonfire Bash, but the end result is a beautiful new Emblem, so it’s well worth the effort. Good luck, Guardian!
