Destiny 2 is a looter set in space which has you, a Guardian chosen by a giant ping-pong ball, battling against the Darkness. And if you want to win against an entity determined to end all life, you’re going need to as much firepower as possible.
One particularly good legendary Scout Rifle that can help on that journey is the Trustee. But how can you get your hands on it? Here’s how to get the Trustee in Destiny 2.
How to Get the Trustee in Destiny 2
Unfortunately, getting the Trustee isn’t as easy as hoping for a nice drop in a Strike or from hard enemies around the plains of the EDZ. The only way to obtain this gorgeous scout rifle is to head to Europa and tackle the Deep Stone Crypt.
The Deep Stone Crypt is a raid that asks you and five other Guardians with stopping the House of Salvation from unleashing a new arm of Darkness-empowered Eliksni. It’s not a particularly difficult raid and if you’ve completed Operation: Seraph’s Shield, you’re already ahead of the game, as many of the mechanics are similar.
The Trustee is the only possible weapon drop for the first encounter’s chest, which gives you a very good chance of obtaining it, but it’s not guaranteed. Fortunately, you can complete the first encounter on all three of your characters to try to farm it.
But it’s important to note that the Deep Stone Crypt is only available to Guardians who have the Beyond Light campaign. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to shell out $30 for it.
