There are two types of ingredients in Tears of the Kingdom: Those that change the effect of the recipe and ingredients that change what the recipe is. To get Vegetable Curry, you need to use ingredients that change what the actual recipe is, and I’ll cover everything you need to know about the dish in TOTK.
Vegetable Curry Recipes in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
The two main ingredients for Vegetable Curry are Hylian Rice and Goron Spice. Those are required for any version of the dish you make in Tears of the Kingdom. With those two in hand, you still need at least one vegetable to get the complete recipe. But the vegetable can change depending on the specific effect you want. I like to go for stamina or attack-based vegetables in general. There is always a time and place for nearly any effect though.
Vegetable Curry Recipes in TOTK:
- Tough Vegetable Curry – 1 x Goron Spice, 1 x Hylian Rice, 1 x Fortified Pumpkin
- Swift Vegetable Curry – 1 x Goron Spice, 1 x Hylian Rice, 1 x Swift Carrot
- Energizing Vegetable Curry – 1 x Goron Spice, 1 x Hylian Rice, 1 x Stambulb
- Mighty Vegetable Curry – 1 x Goron Spice, 1 x Hylian Rice, 1 x Mighty Thistle
Those recipes are just a handful of my favorites when I’m cooking up a good curry for Link on his adventure. However, you can get nearly any effect you need in the game, so I recommend experimenting with any of the veggies you have as long as you have some to spare.

If you need Goron Spice as well, you can head over to Goron City, which is located in the northeast section of Hyrule. The coordinates for Goron City are (1699, 2454, 0398). When you arrive, head to the general store and pick up as much of the spice as you can.
