Outlast is one of the most famous horror game franchises in the last decade, and it is popular with many livestreamers, Let’s Players, and regular gamers for a reason. It’s a great mix of atmospheric horror aspects and jumpscare and chase sequences. Its decent storyline and engaging gameplay gives you little time to rest.
Red Barrels presented The Outlast Trials gameplay footage during the Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Stream, but didn’t specify the release date yet – all we know is that it has been under development for at least a year. If you don’t want to wait, there’s a Closed Beta and you can get to play the game before most people do, as soon as devs open the test phase.
