The Vaults are one of the new dungeon types in Season 3 of Diablo 4 that provide you with plenty of Magic Stone rewards. Before you can get started on the mechanical grind though, you need to unlock these dungeons and I’ll cover how.
How to Enter Vaults in Diablo 4
To unlock Vaults in Season of the Construct, you must complete “The Miracle” quest that completes the main seasonal story. After reaching the end of the quest and defeating Malphas, there are multiple Vault entrances that you can enter within The Gatehall. However, that’s not the only way to reach these new dungeons.
There are five different Vaults in total. One is designated for each major zone such as the Fractured Peaks or the Dry Steppes. So you can use The Gatehall to enter each one, or you can look for the entrance on the surface of either zone. In my opinion, using the new Gatehall hub is the easiest way to pick the Vault entrance you want.
Unlocking Vaults in Diablo 4:
- Complete “The Miracle” quest and defeat Malphas.
- Enter the Gatehall and use one of the five Vault entrances.
- Craft Nightmare Vault Sigils.
The third method to enter Vaults in Diablo 4 is to use a Nightmare Vault Sigil. These work the same way as normal Nightmare Sigils, which means you need to reach World Tier 3 before you can start completing these. As long as you have enough resources such as Shattered Stone, you can keep creating more sigils at an occultist.
Like seasons in the past, the seasonal dungeons are marked by green leaf symbols on a white gate. So when you activate a sigil or when you search The Gatehall, the green leaves will lead the way. Now get started on collecting all the stones you need for the best Seneschal possible.
The Seneschal itself is going to require plenty of Tuning Stones to reach its full potential in Diablo 4.
