Black Myth: Wukong is one of the biggest releases of 2024, with over 1.4 million concurrent Steam players. The PC version is an incredible visual showcase, and the game is full of details to appreciate. If you want to appreciate things a bit further without the action stopping you down, here is how you can use the photo mode in Black Myth: Wukong.
Photo Mode in Black Myth Wukong
To use the photo mode in Black Myth: Wukong, you need to press the R2 + touchpad on a PlayStation controller, the RT + view button on an Xbox controller, or the P key on the keyboard.
This will bring up the photo mode interface at any point in the game, and you’ll have the ability to adjust the usual camera settings, filter, depth of field, and aspect ratio. You can also turn off the headgear, or remove any stains from clothing. There are a decent variety of options, and filters to apply, but it’s still on the more basic side.
Once you’re done with the adjustments, you can press X/Square to toggle the menu and take a screenshot.
We hope the developers consider adding even more options to adjust different settings in the photo mode further. We’re glad that there are no major restrictions as to when you can enable the photo mode.
Black Myth: Wukong is a gorgeous game, and it makes great use of Unreal Engine 5. The asset quality is excellent, and while some textures aren’t as high quality, there aren’t many titles that feel nearly as detailed. It’s fairly demanding if you try to max it out as well, which is why we recommend sticking to the high preset as part of our best graphics settings.
PC players who want to make sure their progress isn’t disrupted can head on over to the save file location as well.
