Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora follows suit with many other Ubisoft games in that it offers two-player co-op when playing through the game’s story, but whether you can play with other platforms is a mystery. Here’s whether Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is crossplay.
Does Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Have Crossplay?
As of writing, Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed whether Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will have crossplay functionality. They haven’t denied it outright but have yet to mention a single word. With that said, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. There are a few reasons to believe the game will never get crossplay.
The first is the sense of scale that the project would entail. Letting gamers play games across multiple systems is a challenge and would likely take a lot of effort to implement. Since the game will only be available for two players at any one time, the chances of that being useful aren’t enough to justify the effort. Alongside that, no other game similar to Avatar has had crossplay. There’s no reason to believe that would change now, especially if Ubisoft is keeping rather tight-lipped on the whole thing.
Will Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Have Cross-Platform Support?
If you were hoping to carry your progress through Avatar to another platform, it looks like the answer is mostly the same. The team hasn’t denied it exists, but they haven’t exactly confirmed it either. I wouldn’t expect this as well purely because it takes a lot of time to program something like cross-platform support, but who knows? Maybe Ubisoft is feeling generous and is leaving it in as a surprise.
