Nowadays, many games are available on platforms like PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox X|S, with some including last-gen support or plans to add this support post-launch. Let’s discuss whether Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is releasing on PS4 and Xbox One.
Is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Launching on PS4 and Xbox One?
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will not launch on PS4 or Xbox One. Instead, it’s initially releasing on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with no current plans to expand beyond this. The official Avatar store page confirms this, listing these three platforms and the game’s editions but not mentioning additional consoles.
Currently, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to launch on December 7, 2023, on PC, PS5, and Xbox X|S, with three editions available to buy:
- Standard Edition
- Gold Edition
- Ultimate Edition
While Standard Edition comes with the base game and the Child of 2 Worlds pre-order bonus pack, Gold Edition includes a season pass, giving you a bonus quest, story packs, and a Resistance Bundle. Ultimate Edition takes this a step further, rewarding everything Gold Edition provides with the addition of the Ultimate Pack and a digital art book.
These editions are available for all three platforms, with PS5 players receiving the Aranahe Warrior pack as a console-exclusive bonus.
Although Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not available for PS4 and Xbox One, and there are no current plans to change this, that doesn’t mean this can’t change in the future. There are often instances of games announcing launches on last-gen consoles, especially after experiencing success during their initial launch week.
However, there’s no guarantee this will happen; we can’t hold our breath on this occurring anytime soon, but the possibility is there.
