While you go through the labyrinth of Remnant 2, both figuratively and literally, you’re likely to come across puzzles of all shapes and sizes. These puzzles range in complexity, from being simple and easy to understand to being complex with all sorts of ins and outs. This puzzle is part of the former, but it can still trip you up if you aren’t attentive. Here’s how to solve the Jester’s card puzzle in Remnant 2.
How to Complete the Card Puzzle in Remnant 2
You’ll first encounter this puzzle when exploring the Malefic Palace in Remnant 2. You’ll come across the Jester randomly, up to his usual antics of trickery after running his seven-hour juggling session (or at least it felt like seven hours) earlier. In front of you lay five cards, each with the same face excluding one with two halves of one face.
The Jester will begin by mixing these cards up in all sorts of mystical ways before showing you the face card and mixing them up again. He’ll end off by turning each card into a door, with you left to pick the one that has both faces on it.

If you’re reading this guide, there’s a reasonably good chance that you’ve already been through those steps and are confused as to which one was right. Thankfully, it’s your lucky day. Unlike many of the other puzzles in Remnant 2, the puzzle answer isn’t random and is guaranteed to be the furthest left door from the Jester. If that’s confusing, it’s the left side door that’s closer to the stairs. Head on through, and you’ll be free to progress.
