With the recent Duviri Paradox update for Warframe, new players now have an important choice to make early on in the game. This choice is between two starting points, which eventually converge and allow you to experience the other side if you wish. Given how this is one of the first choices you make though, you may be wondering which side is a better place to start. Here is whether you should pick the Warframe path or Paradox path in Warframe.
Which Path Should You Pick at the Start of Warframe?
Which path you decide in Warframe is going to depend on a variety of factors. Both the Paradox and Warframe paths play like very different games with similar core DNA, so it is going to depend mostly on the style of combat you prefer. The Warframe path takes the route of a highly mobile third-person shooter, so it is better you start there if that is what you are more familiar with. Otherwise, the Paradox path takes the route of a third-person melee combat game with different moves and a slower combat flow. If you are a fan of those types of games, you should go that route.
With that being said, it is important to note that the Paradox path comes with a lot of story content that is not going to make sense until you have completed many hours of content on both sides of the game. The Warframe path is confusing as well, do not get me wrong, but the Paradox path includes things that are, at the moment, very late points in the overarching Warframe story that will not make too much sense. If you are a lore nerd, then the Paradox path may throw you for a loop.

As much as I have 1100 hours too many to make the same decision, I would go for the Warframe path in your shoes. It is an easier side of the game to learn, and you can always give a go at the Paradox path’s content once you have finished the initial stages of the game.
