How to Unlock All Hero Weapons

If you want to unlock all nine of the Hero Weapons in Splatoon 2, then you’re going to need to be willing to put in quite a bit of work. As you play through the single player campaign, Sheldon will ask you to test out new weapons to help him get them up to par for a full release. If you want to unlock these weapons for use in Splatoon 2’s multiplayer, then you’ll need to complete all twenty-seven of the lairs in the game, as well as take down all five of the bosses in the campaign as well.

The real caveat here, though, is that you’ll have to complete the entire game with each of the Hero Weapons in order to unlock them. You won’t have them all available right from the start, though, so we’ve put together a nice little chart that details when you’ll unlock the weapons, and what weapon it is.

  • Hero Shot – Unlocked in Lair 1
  • Hero Roller – Unlocked in Lair 4
  • Hero Dualies – Unlocked in Lair 5
  • Hero Charge – Unlocked in Lair 6
  • Hero Slosher – Unlocked in Lair 10
  • Hero Splatling – Unlocked in Lair 13
  • Hero Blaster – Unlocked in Lair 19
  • Hero Brella – Unlocked in Lair 20
  • Hero Brush – Unlocked in Lair 22

Now that you know about all the Hero weapons, you can start working on getting them unlocked. As we mentioned before, it’s going to take a good bit of time if you want to unlock them all for use in Splatoon 2’s multiplayer. It won’t be easy, and it might take you a while to accomplish it, but once you’ve helped Sheldon gain all his information, you can dive into the multiplayer and start using your weapons, once you’ve purchased them of course.
