While the new Whispers in the Walls quest is the star of the show for Warframe as of late, another feature is major for those who play on multiple platforms. Here’s how to enable cross-platform save in Warframe.

How to Activate Cross-Platform Save in Warframe

To enable cross-platform save in Warframe, you’ll want to head to the official Warframe site and log in. This login should be the same as the details you use to log in to your regular Warframe account. Once you’ve logged in, hover over your name on the top right of the page and click Account Management. Once on this new screen, you should see a banner called Cross-Platform Save. If you’re eligible, then you should see the steps to continue quite clearly.

If the banner says “Coming Soon” for you, then there’s a good chance that you’re currently ineligible to activate it. That isn’t anything on you and rather has to do with how cross-platform save is being debuted. Digital Extremes is rolling the feature out in staggered groups rather than all at once to ensure the feature is added smoothly. However, the team plans to have everyone onboard for cross-platform saving by the end of 2023, so you should see that change in the coming weeks.

Note:

It’s also important to note that cross-platform save debuts on December 14, so if you’re reading this on the 13th, you’ll want to check again tomorrow.

How Will Cross-Platform Save Work?

Once you get access to cross-platform saves, you’ll be asked to select a Primary Account between your accounts on every platform. That account will be the data that you use across all different platforms, with the other accounts being wiped from existence. However, that doesn’t mean everything from the other accounts is gone. Things like Resources, items in your Arsenal, and Currencies will be merged into your Primary Account. Don’t worry, that 1000 Plat you have on your Nintendo Switch account will still be useable on your PC account.
