Warhammer 40K: Darktide doesn’t shy away from giving you a wide variety of foes to take down. You have the relatively innocent-looking Scabs, who often don armor and almost look like a proper military. Things get much grosser as you go through the roster though, all the way to the large, infested Beast of Nurgle that can prove to be troublesome for any squad. One enemy that seems to be eluding most, though, is the Corruptor, and there’s a good reason for that. Here’s what the Corruptor enemy is in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.
Who is the Corruptor in Darktide?
You may have first spotted this enemy in Darktide’s achievements, under the “Something In Your Eye” achievement which asks you to hit a Corruptor in the eye with your grenade as Skullbreaker. When playing missions, though, the Corruptor is nowhere to be found. That’s because the Corruptor technically isn’t an enemy, and instead only appears in certain missions. The Corruptor is the eye that spawns after hitting three daemonic growths around the map.

As for strategies to complete this achievement, the method is fairly simple. Simply play a mission where you need to clear out daemonic growths. From there, get to the end and destroy the three tentacles leading to the growth. This will spawn the Corruptor, which is the giant eye you have to hit to continue the mission. Simply throw the grenade box at its eye, and you will have completed the achievement.
The Corruptor is just one part of Darktide that’s somewhat confusing. There are also the weapon stats, which have confusing names that don’t make much sense.
