Pocketpair struck gold with Palworld, the game everyone on the internet is raving about. But let’s see what they worked on before Palworld became the new phenomenon and see where they’ve come since then.
What Other Games Has Pocketpair Made?
While Pocketpair was founded in 2015, there are only a few games that have been created under its wings. With Palworld being the banger that it is, it’s hard to believe that the company had produced only 3 other games before its Early Access release. Here are all of the previous games and upcoming ones that Pocketpair has developed or is developing:
- Overdungeon – August 23, 2019
- Craftopia – September 4, 2020
- AI: Art Impostor – November 3, 2022
- Palworld – January 19, 2024
- Never Grave – Demo Available, Q1 2024
Before starting up Palworld, I didn’t realize that Craftworld was a Pocketpair-developed game, as it’s one that I jumped into on Xbox Game Pass a while back and didn’t care much for, personally. However, that can’t be said for Palworld, as I can’t stop logging back in without a second thought. Alongside the previous effort of Craftworld, AI: Art Imposter is a party game for 3 to 8 players, and Never Grave looks to take a bit of inspiration from Metroidvanias such as Hollow Knight, but with a surprising Mario Odyssey twist.
It seems like Palworld may be their biggest hit, but we can only hope they keep releasing games that catch the world’s attention the way this one has. While it may be in Early Access, this survival crafting game has the world in a chokehold at the moment and doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. For those who are curious and have an Xbox Series X|S or PC with Game Pass, be sure to try it.
