Gerudo Town is one of the most famous villages in the Zelda Franchise. Fans of the town will be happy to know that Gerudo Town does make an appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! However, it’s quite difficult to reach. Without further ado, keep reading to learn how to find Gerudo Town in Tears of the Kingdom!
How to Get to Gerudo Town in Tears of the Kingdom
Gerudo Town is found on the southwest side of Hyrule, and its exact coordinates are (-3869, -2948, 0033).
As you can see in the image above, the trek to Gerudo Town is no joke. You’ll have to cross through the Gerudo Sandstorm which saps your health without Heat Resistance active. If you are traveling at night, you will need Cold Resistance instead. The sandstorm also renders your map useless, so you’ll need to follow these instructions carefully to stay alive…
First, get some Hydromelon and cook them into Chilly Simmered Fruit for adequate Heat Resistance. You can use Spicy Peppers or warm clothes to get Cold Resistance.
Once you’ve gotten some weather resistance, you’ll want to head to the Mayatat Shrine, which is found at the coordinates (-3288, -2513, 0024). This is the closest Fast Travel location to Gerudo Town.
From Mayatat Shrine you must head southwest, directly into the Sandstorm. You can use the sand tornado to boost yourself up into the air, using your paraglider to cross distance faster.

If you are traveling by foot, look for a stone structure with a flower on top. This structure will point you in the direction of Gerudo Town.
You can actually get boosted up higher than the sandstorm by using tornadoes, allowing you to see farther than normal. Look out for some massive stone walls, which will most likely be the walls of Gerudo Town.
Once you’ve finally made it to Gerudo Town, you can complete the Regional Phenomena quest and continue your journey through The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
