Duel-wielded daggers are the latest weapon type you can add to your arsenal in Enshrouded. If you’re a Ranger and you’ve been struggling in close-range combat when the monsters find your hiding spot, these weapons are for you. And anyone else who wants to sport a fancy pair of knives, really.
How to Get Dual-Wielded Daggers in Enshrouded
As part of the Melodies of the Mire update, you can get a special pair of Duel-Wielded Daggers by completing a quest for the Bard. The quest is called Daggers for the Bard and will be given to you shortly after saving the new NPC from the Sunken Ancient City in the Blackmire. The quest itself takes you to the Snapjaw Tar Pits, which is a quick glide from the Blackmire Ancient Spire.
If you have the quest selected, the daggers will show up on your map. Create a Waypoint for easy navigation and glide off the top of the Blackmire Ancient Spire towards the Snapjaw Tar Pits. As soon as you soar over a large rock formation on top of a hill, touch down and jump to the mud below.
Search around the muddy expanse of the Snapjaw Tar Pits until you find a large, deceased beast floating in the muck. You will find the Bard’s daggers lodged in the beast’s skull.
Of course, Valory’s might not be the first pair of daggers you stumble across in Enshrouded. Chests are somewhat randomized, so there is always a chance you will find some in one of the chests around Embervale. Some of the best daggers, however, can be found in a golden chest in the very bottom right corner of the map.
This spot is large enough to place a Flame Altar beside the chest, is outside of the potentially deadly Shroud, and has no enemies nearby. This makes it the best golden chest farming spot in the whole game. Slap a Flame Altar near the chest, being careful not to include the chest in the Flame Altar’s radius, and enjoy your neverending loot!
The loot from chests respawns every time you enter the game in Enshrouded. This means you can fast travel to that chest, or any other chest, for that matter, open it, restart the game, and repeat. There are tons of different types of high-level daggers in this chest. You can also find high-level armor, bows, swords, and double-handed weapons here.
