People absolutely love hiding random goodies around Moonrise Tower. Something about bathing in the divine influence of the Absolute just turns them all into hoarding squirrels. And that’s most obviously demonstrated by the Secret Stash in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here’s how to find it.
Secret Stash in Moonrise Tower Prison Location in (BG3)
To get the secret stash, you have to get into Moonrise Tower, make your way into the prison, break out the Tieflings, and dig it up.
Moonrise Tower is to the far south of the shadow-cursed lands. And once you’re inside the main floor, you’ll find that the stairs to the prison are to the right of the room where you initially meet Ketheric Throm. You’ll know you’ve found the correct set of stairs because of the massive blood streaks leading to them.
Once you’re inside the prison, you’ll find the Tieflings in a cage. You’ll have to break them out to access the secret stash location.
With the Tieflings free, you can open up the jail doors by entering the warden’s room. Against the wall will be a series of switches. You can throw the switch to open all the doors. But do not flip the large switch. Doing this will set off the alarm. And if you haven’t turned Moonrise Tower hostile, this will do it.

Once the prison doors are open, head through the hole the gnomes made to gain access to the docks. Head towards this location and then use a shovel to dig manually by clicking on the hole.
Yes. This is the only hidden treasure where you must choose the shovel in your inventory and dig for it yourself. And, really, once you see what’s inside the chest, you’ll wonder if it was even worth all the trouble you went through.
Fortunately, the hidden treasure on the main floor is much better. But, like the secret stash, it can be hard to find.
