Enshrouded is an exciting survival crafting experience, but being able to sit on the couch and put some extra hours in sounds like a dream come true. Can you play Enshrouded on your Steam Deck, or is it too big of a game?

Is Enshrouded Steam Deck Verified?

While Enshrouded may be listed as Unverified/Unknown on the official Steam Page of the game, I am happy to report that the game does play and function well on Valve’s portable PC. While I have everything set to Low and running in Performance rather than quality, it’s still running at a nearly smooth 30fps at all times.

As the game is in Early Access right now, we may eventually see a full Verified on the Steam Page as it gets closer to release. Since Enshrouded does feature full controller support, you won’t need to worry about plugging in any external devices. If you still want to play with a keyboard and mouse, you can easily hook it up to a Dock and play on your favorite display.

Much like the other hot crafting/survival game on the market, Palworld, you can enjoy everything Enshrouded offers from the comfort of your favorite portable device. While this doesn’t confirm that a Nintendo Switch port is in the making, there is a good chance we could see this game make its way to other systems.

From the massive world that is set before you to explore to the variety of objects that you can find and interact with within the world of Enshrouded, it’s always great when you can jump into your favorite games in the most comfortable spot in your house.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on our Enshrouded section below to learn more about the game, and see what you’ll need to do to finally get your hands on some String while playing.
