With Season 4 now live in Diablo 4, the Accursed Rituals have once again returned to the Helltide, but with some changes. However, they continue to be as tricky as ever, which can be a big test for the new players. Naturally, knowing how to proceed with these challenging events will be extremely helpful for all their in-game grind through Season 4.
How to Start Accursed Rituals in Diablo 4
One of the most important resources to collect in Season 4 is the Baneful Hearts. When a Helltide is live, you’ll encounter a triangular ritual site. Typically, these sites are always in the middle of Helltides and open to all. You have to deposit three Baneful Hearts to begin the event.
Here’s the beauty of the process—you don’t need to submit all three hearts yourself. In fact, the process of donating the Baneful Hearts can be split among all the players participating in the event. Once the three Baneful Hearts are placed, you can begin the Accursed Ritual.
How to Complete Accursed Rituals in Diablo 4
Every ritual has two parts, and the first act involves a group of demons. Once you have taken down enough of them, the demons will stop appearing, which means that you have managed to access the main boss fight. You must take down the Blood Maiden, who is the hardest enemy to defeat in Diablo 4 Season 4 Helltides.
Interestingly, any player around the Accursed Ritual site can obtain a reward after the final battle. However, the rewards will be noticeably better if you have donated at least one Baneful Heart. These items are hard to collect, and you’ll need to reach and survive threat level 3 in Helltides.
Once you have done so, a Hellborne Boss will spawn. If you manage to beat it, you’ll be rewarded with a Baneful Heart. To learn more about the detailed process, check out this guide.
