If you’re one of the few survival game-enjoyers who’s shied away from Palworld for one reason or another, Enshrouded might be calling your name. This game is a bit like an indie-survival Breath of the Wild, and the inclusion of a glider only drives the comparison home. Here’s how to get the Glider in Enshrouded.
Enshrouded Glider Crafting Recipe
To craft a Glider, you’ll first need access to a Workbench, which can be crafted from your inventory using 3 String and 8 Wood Logs. These are easy enough to find by chopping some trees and crafting string from plant fibers looted from bushes in the early game.
The Glider Recipe is as follows:
- 8 Shroud Wood
- Found in misty, Shroud-covered areas. Just hack down some of the decrepit trees in the fog and you’ll find more than enough before you know it.
- 2 Animal Fur
- Found from looting animals – goats are an excellent source early game, dropping two each.
- 2 String
- Crafted from Plant Fiber, which can be looted from leafy bushes.
- 2 Shroud Spores
- Dropped in large numbers by Shroud-touched enemies, like the zombies north of the Cinder Vault.
Since the Glider doesn’t require a craftsman NPC to make, you’ll be able to get your hands on one right away. The base Glider is of limited use, admittedly, since its trajectory is less “across” than it is “down.” No matter your landing angle, you won’t take fall damage when using the Glider, so it is a convenient tool for when you’re trying to go, uh, down.
Still, it’ll save you if you’re planning on taking a shortcut to the East of the Cinder Vault. And by shortcut, I mean jumping off the cliff. But if you find yourself landing a bit short of your goal, check out our Surviving the Shroud guide!
