Custom characters that players can create in Street Fighter 6 are definitely one of the most significant innovations that this sequel has brought to the famous fighter series. Your original creation will be your avatar in the Battle Hub mode and the main character with which you will go through the very detailed RPG-like World Tour mode.
You can always try to make your character look like you, or you can go completely crazy and create whatever comes to your mind because this character editor has very few limitations. But before we get there – do you want to know how to create custom characters in Street Fighter 6? Let’s figure it out!
How to Make Original Characters in SF6
When you start Street Fighter 6 and try to enter World Tour or Battle Hub for the first time you will be hit with a character editor right away where you will be able to create your first custom character. But, if you want to modify his/hers appearance or create other custom characters that you can then share with friends and other players here is what you need to do.

In the Battle Hub – Go to the Body Shop kiosk (upper right corner of the map, just below Extreme Battle Arena), here you can modify your look and create a brand new custom character in the Avatar Creator. Go to the last tab named “Recipe” for all options you will need to save and upload your character recipes, and to download the ones other players have made.
In the World Tour mode – Visit Style Lab Beauty Salon in Metro City (on the right from the Beat Square) during the first chapters of the game or Doctor L’s Beauty Salon in Old Nayshall a little bit down the road. There you will be able to use the same Avatar Creator.
So there you have it, these are the places where you can access the Avatar Creator editor and all its functions, just remember, the slots for uploading your creations are limited, so you will have to buy additional ones for 25 Fighter Coins in the Goods Shop (accessed from the Multi Menu), for the real money. The maximum additional recipe slots are 10 per account, so use them wisely to create something other players will find amusing. Judging by the all weird custom characters running around the Battle Hub this seems to be everyone’s goal.
