As you increase the power of your Seneschal in Diablo 4 Season 3, you will eventually want to get some Legendary and Unique Tuning Stones. Here’s how to get legendary & unique tuning stones in Diablo 4.
What do Tuning Stones Do in Diablo 4?
Tuning Stones are incredibly important for augmenting Governing Stones attacks. You are allowed six Tuning Stones in your Seneschal, with a total of three per attack. Examples of some Tuning Stones include Voluminous Support, Swift Support, Breaking Support, Tactical Support, Frigid Support, and more. They’re incredibly important for getting a power boost, so be sure to get them ASAP.
Where to Get Unique & Legendary Tuning Stones in Diablo 4
You can get Unique Tuning Stones by defeating the Echo of Malphas in the Vault of the Loom on World Tier 4. There are only two different Unique stones to collect in the category and you aren’t always guaranteed a drop. However, getting the resources to fight the Echo of Malphas is cheap compared to other bosses.
All you need is Shattered Stone and Pearls of Warding to summon the fight in the Vault of the Loom. But if you aren’t lucky, you’ll need to keep farming Malphas. Eventually, you can collect the Evernight stone and the Genesis stone. Both of them have powerful effects and they can be used with most other Governing Stones.
Earning Legendary Tuning Stones in D4:
- Complete Vaults and open Wardwoven chests on World Tier 4.
- Defeat the Echo of Malphas in the Vault of the Loom on World Tier 4.
As for Legendary Tuning Stones, you need to open Wardwoven Chests within any of the five Vaults in Season 3. World Tier 2 won’t be much help though. You should try running through the Vaults on World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 for the best chance at getting a Legendary reward.
Unfortunately, grinding these out can get frustrating due to the way traps work. You need to have a few stacks of Zoltun’s Warding left to open the best rewards and it’s not always an easy feat. Taking it slow is the best way to maintain the stacks and that’s not always fun in Diablo 4.
Those of you playing a Sorcerer class can skip over some of the traps using the Teleport ability within Vaults and make traversing a bit easier.
